Paul has a proven track record in science management, business development and research, as well as commitment, energy and a real enthusiasm for innovation and customer engagement.
Paul’s qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Biology and a PhD in Toxicology. He has been involved in science and business disciplines for over 20 years, including roles in both academia and commercial sectors (in the UK, Canada and New Zealand). Paul has held several roles with Awanui Veterinary including Category Manager, Production Animals and Laboratory Manager, Palmerston North. Prior to this he was the Director of Research and Development at The Drug Detection Agency (TDDA), the largest provider of drug testing services in Australasia, and Manager of the Workplace Drug Testing Laboratory at ESR.
